Pros: The Flash drive is packaged with a piece of paper with a printed registration key. I had already installed a trial copy of Parallels 8 and the registration key activated it with no problem. Nice that I got the 4 GB usb drive.

It may only be returned to Newegg for a replacement only if the DVD–ROM received is damaged. No other replacement RMAs are permitted for any reason. In the case of a damaged disk or otherwise nonfunctional software, a normal Newegg RMA must be obtained, and the disk returned to Newegg. If you have already attempted to install the software, using the activation key which had been sent to you, the manufacturer will be notified to cancel the activation key for that disc, and a new disc will be sent to you. Once you install it on your computer, they will periodically push advertisements onto your desktop, effectively turning your Mac into their marketing channel. They provide no way to turn this off, short of calling support and raising a sufficient stink--they will then email you a patch file you can run.
Other than this, Parallels is not a bad product. But VMware is just about as good. Why reward psychopathic corporate behavior?
