Amateur question but can you make a new hole in a leather band with any of these tools?

Where do you get batteries for watches? Can I find them in regular grocery stores?

Riteaid, CVS, walgreens are a few I know. Also some will replace the battery 4 u too.

You should go to Amazon and look up the model numbers of each battery instead. They use different types of batteries.

You can but they weren't meant for that purpose. You'd want a clean cut such as what a 3-hole punch does.

I had 3 dead battery watches. I ordered this kit before. Take the back off, and google the number on the existing watch battery. It will be like LR350 or SW2520 or something. You will find an equivalent AG battery number like AG3, AG6. Then look on ebay for that. I bought a 10 pack for $0.99 for each of my watch batteries. Much cheaper than the ones at drugstores etc. And the batteries ship from US location so you will get it quick.

I can't believe that watch shops charge $10 - $15 for replacing a battery.

I'm fortunate to find a watch place charges me $6 with battery included but I know most places start at $10. This niffy kit well worth it. Thanks for sharing

The charge is for the work involved in geting the back off and on without completely scratching it or shattering the glass.

Getting the back on again is incredibly difficult. It seems easy until you try it.
