I'm not even a Costco member, but I was able to get it again.
Gold has no restrictions...except paying the price difference for Imax and 3D....which you have to pay in silver too....
Btw just a info for all gold or any tickets like silver does not count towards your amc stub membership reward points. I know it sucks but they came up with this rule starting 2013.
Earlier each gold ticket was worth 7 points and additional points if you are paying more for imax and 3d. Now if paying addition for imax n 3d only so much rewards you would earn and nothing on gold ticket.
So if somebody is planning to stack up on this and gonna use through the year stub memebership is pretty much useless other then getting upgraded for drinks n snacks and getting waived on fandango but again with gold in hands would not be using fandango much for amc
Apart from stub and last year deal it is still decent saving specially for locations as mine were ticket prices have reached $11.50

I like to buy silver tickets, because you can pay $1.50 and upgrade them to gold status at the counter. Silvers are good for movies older than 10-14 days. So if you end up watching a older release thats been out for 2 weekends already, you save that $1.50 and dont have to spend a gold ticket.
Another tid bit: Cinemark has platinum super savers for $7.50. which are good for all regular movies (you pay extra for 3d, XD, etc). If you work in a corporate office, they may be offering them at this price. Some universities also offer them. In my experience CInemark is usually larger than AMC, and with the weekly cinemark coupon, Can get a large drink and popcorn for around 7 dollars (depend on where you live). AMC has lost me after changing their stubs policy.
I bought 50 of these for my company.
