EDIT: Are they all 17" computers? I don't want anything bigger than 15"
nope, I have experience with HP.
I purchased one in 2007 and heavily used it for gaming under low graphics quality. Its still up and running, and I resold it for my money back. (HP Pavilion DV6646US)
But yeah, Lenovo have some really good deals but I *believe* that they are using low quality parts in their build.
Why do I hear so much complaints about lenovo's touchpad?
I personally thought it was fine on factory settings, but some people had trouble typing and the cursor jumping around. Easy fix really.
Some people are just too lazy and or stupid to adjust settings and simply
cant handle that.
ASUS is a good brand laptop but not many good deals.
Don't pay any attention to this guy, Lenovo has become a credible supplier, up there with Asus and Toshiba or Samsung.
Some negative experiences can be said for any brand of anything, ever.

[o _0]No good quality, cheap look, dead pixels. I traded to Sony and that was my purpose.
