Quick question, are these good enough to use 750w space heater that is connected to a 3000watt generator? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I use to pull 30A through a 12ga extension cord for hours at a time, the problem is not the cord, it's the connectors on the ends which are crimped. If they aren't crimped well, that's what gets hot, not the conductors. You could pull 15A through 18 gauge wire over 75 feet, keep the insulation nice and warm and supple.

OK, OK I have the highest respect for professional electricians, and paid good money to have an IBEW guy do my addition, even though I think I know what I'm doing. My dad burned down a house he built himself - fire deparment said improper splice, undersized junction box.
