I bought this last time it was up and it did not work.

I bought a few of these last time they had a deal like this. During Sandy I tied a few one to my stairs and it lite up the whole foyer. I had another on my kitchen chandelier which lite up my whole kitchen. These things are awesome! Got 2 more! Thanks OP, repped.

I say this every time this offer comes up - the lantern is absolute garbage. I've ordered it twice - once DOA, once it constantly flickered between very low and low light. Believe me - not worth your time or your two-fiddy.

Just FYI about the light, I ordered one last time at this price and the power button is upside down and inside the light there are fingerprints all over it.

i would have called for a replacement!

RMA will kill you if you get a defect. Meritline.com is fully aware that they are selling trash, that's way they do not stand behind the products. You have to pay for shipping back, even E-bay has protection, so you are better of buying directly from China then a middle man who is just taking you money.
