These are really thin for HDMI cables. They're about the thickness of a USB cable. They seem to work, but I think in the future I'm going to go with 28 AWG or better,

Little to no specs on these. I'd want to know the version and wire gauge before buying.

These are cheap cables. If they work they are great for instances where you are leaving the cable in place.

Been using cheap cables for years, never hard any problem. Not for ones who want gold plated jacks..

I used monoprice cables for everything and have had almost non-stop issues with them. I'd test them -- they'd work fine, then I'd run them through the wall. Within a matter of months or years (being a year and a half tops), I'd start having handshake issues with my TV. I made the assumption the receiver was to blame since I changed out all of the HDMI cables between my components and receiver (but never changed out the in-wall cable). Took the receiver in for warranty repair and they couldn't replicate the issue (no wonder why!). Changed out the in-wall cable (pain in the royal ass) and it solved it. That cheap one lasted about six months to a year. Went to fish it out and it snagged on something and actually snapped (I kid you not) in the wall. So I had to completely re-fish a new cable through. This time, I made sure to use a wall rated one from Blue Rigger (Amazon carries them). The ratings are great and it has a very solid construction and it's not pricey.

I also had some issues when I switched from my Sony receiver to an HK AVR1700. When using with my PS3, I had flickering/handshake issues. Other people on this forum and AVS Forum reported similar issues. In nearly every (or every) case, using a better cable resolved the issue. You could turn deep color off to solve it, but WHY? I also had sparkles in my SD cable TV signal. Changed out the HDMI cable from my cable box to the receiver and it cleaned it up.

Like I said, these specific ones give me trouble when unplugging a lot. They like to to be perfectly inserted. (That's what she said)
