Pauls TV is having some Pany TV deals, and the 47" E50 model is getting overlooked and should probably have its own thread. I believe it was front page at this price but with $100 of it being an Amazon promo card. Now it's $550 outright after coupon code SAVE100 brings it down from $649.99. Amazon will also price match if you call. They will stay on the line while you place the order so no need to wait till after it ships to do it.
Link [paulstv.com] Amazon Link [amazon.com] Depending upon the state you live in, Pauls might be a better option. They only charge sales tax in the states they have stores in (CA, CO, MI, VA, RI, MA. and NH). I live in PA and have sales tax but have $150 in Amazon points so the tradeoff is worth it. Seems like it's their best non 3D TV with all the basics except built in wifi. For me it means an inch larger picture in a case that's an inch narrower and 3" shorter than my old 46" Sharp LCD which will replace my 42" Pany plasma in the bedroom. Could care less about 3D.

Please don't Thread Crap a good deal.
SD admins should ban morons like your for thread crapping.
From the lcd buying guide:
The E50 series has what Panasonic is calling 360 Backlight Scanning, the panel in the TC-L47E50 is 120Hz and then the LED back lighting is manipulated so the TV appears to have a 360 Hz panel. This is used to eliminate judder in film content and to lessen or eliminate motion blur in fast action scenes on the TV.
24p Cinema Smoother
Panasonic's 24p Cinema Smoother converts 24p content up to the television's native frame rate by adding extra frames into the content. 24p content can appear jerky on some televisions because the 24 frames per second of film does not divide even into the 60 frames per second of the television. The 24p Cinema Smoother cuts down on jerkiness in film content.
E: Also what are the benefits of going through Amazon instead? Is this site not reputable?
