REALLY hesitating to pull the trigger on this. I want to grab it as it finishes one of my favorite franchises of this gen of consoles...BUT reviews aren't great. Wondering if I should wait for it to hit $20 on a gamefly sale or something. Opinions from those who have played more than the demo?

DS3 is worth playing if you're a fan of the franchise. It isn't as good (or scary) as DS1 & 2, though feels like a continuation of the story (whether or not you agree with how it was continued is another matter). For example, with the first game set on a spaceship and the second taking place on a spaceship and a small colony, realistically, from a developer perspective, you'd want to add a new setting to keep things fresh. I don't think all the changes were for the best (co-op unravels more of Carver's story and dialogue options - so if you play by yourself, you don't get everything, some puzzles are unintuitive, not any difference with suits, not enough tense/horror elements), but some were nice (weapon crafting) and it was good to see the characters again. If you're a fan, $30+ seems reasonable, I can't imagine it will be much less than $30 in the next few months (eventually, sure) and one of the guns the LE unlocks is pretty great.

Pretty good deal since cheapest brand new on ebay is still over $50

This should be Limited Edition Version that is all that is out right now that code is worth $15 on ebay by itself if sold making the game only $20.
