I'm not TC'ing, I just can't believe the price on these things went up so much. I just checked my order on Amazon. The 9009 I bought in 2010 was $35, which by the way is still working great. As good as all my Eneloops are once in a while one of them will throw a fit and stops charging way too early. A single cycle of discharge on the La Crosse always fixes it.

For $30 I think I'll go ahead and pick one up so that I can charge more than four cells at once. I've never charged my Eneloops at more than 700mAh anyway so the BC700 will work the same as my 9009.

The price on these things fluctuates wildly. This is a good price but not front page type. (although it IS the best in a while) Camel will tell you more of the story.

From a cost perspective are these chargers really worth it? I still have Eneloops that are going fine 5 years later with the stock charger.

I gave up on waiting for the price to drop and bought one at $38 a couple months ago. Oh well. It has already worked great and I am currently working through all of my ancient batteries reviving them. I just used the paperclip trick to bring one back to life this morning.
