1. Can I use the rebate if I buy this from Amazon? Reason being I would pay $2 extra after MIR if I purchase from Amazon, then again I have Amazon GC. Or the product should be purchased from Rakuten only?
2. The other day I almost purchase Cooler Master NotePal X2 which I guess better than this one, but I would like wait till some rebate comes in for X2. Or X-lite having very low fan speed isn't it?

The rebate form says you must buy from Rakuten.
Edited: Now I don't see where it says this but I'm pretty sure that is true.....Yes, found it under Terms and Conditions highlighted in red "Valid at (Buy.com) only".
i think the offer code is different.
i hope the rebate goes through!

It is in red, "Promotion limited to stock on hand. Valid at (Buy.com) only."
So, chances your rebates will be rejected. Who knows?

All these fans do very little to cool down your laptop's internals. I wouldn't pay extra for something that will have virtually no difference.
