Microsoft Wireless Xbox 360 Controller (Black) $31 (expired)

Grabbed a couple of these with a USB receiver via amazon for an Ubuntu emulator setup. Stoked!

The price seems acceptable. My old controller controls bad, I think the connection is out of order.

Looking for a deal on one of these to use with windows 7. Got a couple games that just really need it.

Ideas?

Not sure about ideas, but I've used wired and wireless on PC and xbox360 controllers are the best for that IMO, especially since a lot of newer games natively supports it. You can even use an xbox headset for chat in game.
Wired USB you dont need anything else, but wireless you'll need a usb receiver. There are bundles sometimes but otherwise receiver is about $15 I think. Don't get a 3rd party unless you want headache, stick with OEM.

Using 3rd party and no headache here. Native drivers work fine.

Also using 3rd party wireless receiver with no problems. The drivers that come with them sometimes don't work but you can manually enter the correct driver which comes with windows 7. Just select "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349" from the drivers for the device in device manager.

Looks like they upped their shipping to $7.29 for 1 controller... I chose 99 cents economy shipping in the drop down, but at checkout it put in $7.29.

Appears it was reading my home address as a business address. Changed the address to something different and the shipping amount changed to the lower price.

fyi, was looking at this at 1210 this morning. It showed as 35 and 0% off. Needless to say i was amused
