Too bad it **cant** to 2 amps if just one device is charging....
This is 2 amps total. but limited to only 0.5 amp per channel. (4*0.5=2.0) Most tablets and newer phones can take 2 amps on a single port for "faster" charging.

Above seems like a better deal to me:
$7/2000mA = $0.0035/mA vs. $38.99/12000mA = $0.0032/mA
2,000mah vs. 12,000mah
port output: all 500mA vs 500mA - 2100mA
not to mention EasyAcc is must better made and received 4.5/5 stars on amazon after 124 reviews.

Stick with the big names. Belkin, Griffin, Etc.
I did see a big surge protector, which had 2 x 2.1A and 2 x 1A, with max 5.2A

Also I've found that a lot of those $5 hubs don't reliably charge 4 devices. Don't know if I'm just doing it wrong or what. I tried some of those cheap $2 hubs from China, and a couple of the cheap $5 mini usb hubs made for laptops. Some of them seem to short out, or after some time just stop charging one of the devices. Doesn't happen with these.
Maybe I just bought junk usb hubs. The only '<$10 hub I've found that works reliably with all 4 ports in use is the squarish Belkin one with high ratings on Amazon.
But yes, it seems like even though they're more expensive ($30-40), the 4 port chargers with 2A, 1A ports seems to be a lot more useful. You can charge multiple tablets on one of those, whereas these won't work.

and I put it in my "Executive wooden multiple device charging station" and need only one wall plug that goes to my USB hub and the rest of the cabling is just USB cables. Since it is a 7-port, I can double up with a "y" USB cable to get an amp out of the deal.

If you've got experience with this as well I'd love to hear it:
Many USB hubs will randomly drop out devices like USB audio adapters. The only decent one that didn't was, again, the squarish Belkin. If you've got any other good models you know of I'd love to hear them.
Very nice.
