1) The Winegard one picked up about 30% more channels. Most likely, because it has a little bigger dimensions than the Mohu (this makes sense from the Physics perspective).
2) The Winegard has a better build quality. It does feel like it's made in the USA. The Mohu one feels cheaply made (probably China).
3) The Winegard has a longer cable, which can be very handy - e.g. in my case I was able to place it in a window where the Mohu cable would not reach.
EDIT: I ended up purchasing one. I want to see a comparison and since I probably have to buy a cable anyways, this will be worth it if for some reason the split doesn't work or the tvs are going at the same time and need different channels. If I don't use it, I have a friend who might still need one.

Depending on how it works, I may cancel my DirectTV.
Over $100 per month for cable is ridiculous. Especially when I rarely watch TV.
Stack up on a few of these and I should be set.
