97% cotton per shnoop website, NOT equivalent to costco champion boxer briefs, tags on costco are like 40% cotton, 40% lycra, 20% spandex (not exact #'s as I left without writing it down)... these are NOT the costco champion variety and more like hanes boxer briefs.

I have both types and am satisfied with both in terms of comfort and fit. Too soon to rank them on durability. An important note - both types recommend against using fabric softener in the wash (and tumble dry low).
Haven't tried the new Kirkland ones yet.
