Klipsch Reference 12" RW-12d Powered Subwoofer $280 + Free Shipping (expired)

I bought this around Christmas time and love it. Cheapest I remember it being.

Do they do price adjustments? I just bought this a few days ago for 299.

Not automatically. Your chances are greatly increased if you haven't recv'd the unit yet; you just nonchalantly offer to refuse the receipt of the package. That usually gets them onboard with a store credit.

If you've already recv'd the item your only recourse maybe to argue your purchasing history with them and the merits of customer retention.

I have had this sub for over 18 months:
It's a great entry-mid level unit for the 12" platform. Originally it was in a dual setup; where I use a big (this Klipsch) & small sub (Definitive Tech Super Cube II) to fill in the full range of the lower spectrum, of my satellite speaker system. It more than fulfilled my initial requirements. I've since upgraded to a 15" unit & relegated this sub to my Sony (wireless) Altus setup, to give a little punch to my great room. Again, no complaints in it's current role.

My only con: Some of the LCD panel's pixels are starting to fade out

in 4 1!! been waiting for this for a good price for years now!! i know its been at 299 for a while but at 279 no reason to jump on it.

In for 1. This is perfect for my budget build HT system and should pair up nicely to the Monitor 70's that I grabbed during BF.

what type of cables does this need to be connected to the receiver? suggestions?

You just need a subwoofer cable.....

Depends how big your living room is... I have 2 550 watt subs and it's not enough for my 17 x 26 living room cause it opens to a large kitchen and formal living room, just too much open space so if you have a large room get another.
