If you ever want authentic Italian food, make your own dishes with lots of seafood and very little sauce. Most of the flavor is from the seafood and cooked into the pasta. Only thing they add over the dish is a little bit of olive oil, but the meal tastes MUCH better.
Might as well try this again though, just turned single, so $10 for both lunch and dinner works out for me!
Starting with the "breadsticks" at Olive Garden, for example...please. No one in Italy eats breadsticks like that
edit: Also, the place does have "Grill" in the title, and I usually get something grilled as my main entree, so I can't speak much about the pastas and raviolis and whatnot (though I have had a few in small amounts and enjoyed them), but what I've had there has been really, really good. Since it's an Italian restaurant it should be sufficient at the pastas and stuff, and I think they are good, but I can't speak about the authenticity. If it's authenticity you're looking for, a chain probably won't deliver it, but that doesn't mean the food isn't good. I think their food is great.

Well actually after you sit down/order your meal... They pre-make the bread, so some places it is tough. You do have olive oil and vinaigrette/pepper to make it taste better. Also, they have thin bread"sticks"... Soooooo your slightly wrong in that statement... Haha.
Oh the days where I spend 11 Euro and get a large plate filled with lobster and penne... Then again; I'm not spending roughly $8 for a large burger and $2 for water...
I work at a Carrabbas in Florida. There is no excuse for those waits. Even if it was busy. Salads should take no longer than 5 minutes. Then they push the food within 15-20. It just sounds to me that you had an awful server. Not sure. But I know that our managers always take care of any guest who is not happy. Just give them a call or email the manager and they will for sure take care of you by giving you a free meals of gift cards or something.
call and ask but I work at carrabbas. They are usually very giving when it comes to this coupons. Even though they say they are dine-in only. They might take them. I know that we do at the one I work at in Florida.
Off-Topic, but since you are in the biz .. I was always curious if a tip is expect on take out orders.. most of the time, I have a drink at the bar while I wait for my food to be prepared and packed. I only leave tip on the drink, but not on the take out order..
macaroni grill feels more like a chain, kind of like chili's. i don't have anything against macaroni grill, but this always felt upscale to get into, yet felt like mcdonalds kind of service. food is good at least.
Now I will say thanks to the OP, because it is a good deal for any pasta lover and I may even use it as Carrabas is closer than Bocas for me.
I work in the food industry, and have for quite a while. I currently serve at small family style Italian restaurant. I would say I don't expect a tip when selling something to go. Now maybe if its a very large order, or with many complications I would be more hopeful, but in all, no I don't expect, but its always appreciated!
Thanks for the coupon!
