Link to deal. [microcenter.com] The specs are: 15.6" 1080p Widescreen Matte Display Intel Core i7-3632QM 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM 1TB 5400RPM Hard Drive AMD Radeon HD 7730M 8x DVDRW Drive 8-in-1 Media Card Reader Microsoft Windows 8 Home As an owner who bought this in Black Friday, here is my feedback on the laptop as a whole, and its gaming potential for those interested: The 1080p screen is exceptionally good with a non-reflective nature (no lights reflecting from all angles), has superb color reproduction, and is a joy to watch movies, photos or even game. It won't play recent games at full res (1080p) fluidly at highest quality, with few exceptions. Here is a practical reply with no charts. I prefer a fluid playing experience over an extra notch of whatever. Choppiness kills a game more than anything for me. Skyrim - I play it with some 30+ mods (which obviously slows things down), mostly high-res textures. I play it at 1366x768 at High, with 16xAF and get 40+FPS outside (with plenty of shadows), and more inside. Batman Arkham City Benchmark - avg 33FPS at 1080p. Deus Ex HR - I play this at 1600x900 for added fluidity. I get at least 40+FPS at all times. XCom Enemy Unknown - 1080p, all options on, completely fluid even cut-scenes. I only mention, as I love the game, and deserves mention. I should add that when playing I use a very light OC (quite safe), going from 575/900 to 620/950 with a slightly better fan profile. It is not noisy FWIW, nor does the keyboard or rest pad below it get warm. The backlit keyboard is a true pleasure. Overall, I think it is an outstanding laptop for the price.

I don't game on laptops, so I really have no business commenting on that, but this seemed like a good deal.
Core i5 2.5Ghz
8GB DDR3
1TB HD
I added a 4 year warranty for $105 with the 30% off card that Square Trade mailed me around Black Friday in case I am an idiot and crack the display by dropping it.The display was very blue by default but here was the fix:
Adjust graphics to eliminate over-saturation of blue:
Red:
Brightness: -5
Contrast: 50
Gamma: 1.0
Saturation: 0
Green:
Brightness: -14
Contrast: 50
Gamma: 1.0
Saturation: 0
Blue:
Brightness: 10
Contrast: 40
Gamma: 0.7
Saturation: 0
Not sure if this current 15R has the same overly blue-ness issue, but posting here in case it does and someone needs these settings.

As to blueness, most laptops I have seen and used (all actually) suffer from this to one degree or another, and the Dell is no different. That said, the color range of the Dell screen is the best I have ever seen for a matte screen.
