Looks like it will be a check. It is still going through the same rebate processing URL so it will most likely take 3 months before you get it.

If you miss on this or are looking for something better, I've been picking up the rocketfish 720p and 1080p cams for cheap. The 720p can often be had for $10 or less, and the 1080p one for under $20. I have one of these logitech vga cams and the quality is low, at least as far as my expectations go. The 720p one is much better, and the 1080p model looks like you're watching an HD movie on tv.

Not many being sold through the regular retail channels, but they crop up at the 3rd tier sites and on ebay.

Prices on the 1080p one are a little high right now, but I got one for $14 a few weeks ago. This one is also better than the logitech, but not as good as the other two.
