Couldn't pass this up. I've seen the wii U deluxe for 300ish after promos. Passed on it. This for
350 - 7ish from cashback things. I value the controller + later model + zombie at > 43.
Nintendo will also not be price dropping this until next gen consoles from my understanding.
That said, I bought and sold the Wii U when it first came out due to cost/lack of games. In the week I had it I played ZombieU and got to say that it was pretty intense and way better than reviews. The reviews were written immediately after release by lazy writers who instead of actually playing through much of the game and getting used to it...tried it for an hour and then blasted it.

You are correct about launches. The 360 and PS3 launches were very weak too.
At least things are picking up for the WiiU with Lego City and Monster Hunters coming out in March. After that I suspect a steady stream of quality games like Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101. I think the game drought is over starting this month so it is a perfect time to pick up a WiiU
