I don't think I can buy two copies of this on one steam account either so that would mean to have it on two computers that my wife and I would have to have two steam accounts--that's such a pain. If I could just buy two copies and and have them in my steam account I'd so totally go for this. We can't easily seperate to two steam accounts now because some of her games and my games are in my account already.
We have laptops, and separate accounts, so all I had to do was go back and re-buy it through Amazon, and tonight, will reveal the Steam product codes (among other things
Sadly, there is no way to play this, or really any sort of card-based game, since you'd have to go off the honor system with all the cards you secretly hold. This isn't a problem in other luck turn based games, like Monopoly, where it doesn't matter if people know what you hold.

Lots of fun playing it multiplayer, there is some pretty good competition online, and you can also play for rank. The DLC is almost necessary, because the initial map has (more or less) a strategy that almost always wins, and the other boards have better balanced it up. It's like people who play WoW and moan about something being overpowered and then being nerfed... hard to do with an online board game
Check out Wil Wheaton and friends playing the game here: Table Top: Ticket to Ride [youtube.com]

The slightly good news is that the ios game and pc game play on the same servers so I guess we could get the pc version and the ios version...
