Funny, I got the long tube one's from Eastbay the last time and my wife asked me just last night to find her a deal on some shorter ones.
I do P90x, Insanity, etc. and these socks really save my feet from some of the pounding. I can tell when I have regular socks on as opposed to these.

I've hikes 10s of miles at a time in the bad-boys, played basketball, walked theme parks, exercised, I've even had to wear them on occassion for two days straight, and my foot was more than sad that I took them off. Love these socks, wish they had them in blue as I already own 5 black and 4 white of the crew variant.
