I would however warn novice/newer computer builders that PNY is not known for reliability. They're not a horrible/awful/no-good manufacturer, but I've personally seen some pretty shoddy quality control with their graphics cards and other products (not to mention their mediocre customer support).

I'd personally stay away, and go with a more reputable brand like EVGA, Gigabyte, ETC which go on sale fairly regularly.

I agree, pny is bad, evga, gigabyte, etc are much better.

It also comes up as $270 with the coupon code entered for me...
Edit: my mistake, $50 rebate...Tax kills it.

it's reference design. PNY is a good brand. I have never had any issue with my pny 6800gs, 8800gtx, and 460gtx along with all other PNY memory products. It has life time warranty too if you register it with them within a certain period of time after you get the card.
