But most are fisheyes, it's true.
These are great deals, by the way. The 8mm and 35mm in particular are spectacular lenses for the price.
I have been putting off getting the 8mm lens, but I really could use it this summer. So tempting.
I also have their 85mm lens. Any questions, i'd be glad to answer.

Use ur flash so you don't need to be wide open and nail focus perfectly. It gives you a lil more room for error. Also, if you don't wanna pull the trigger on a brand new MF lens, check craigslist for older Nikkor or M42 mount lenses and get an adapter to fit ur SLR. This way you can experience MF and not spend $200+ to find out you hate it.
I learned on only MF lenses, so this is home for me.

For a pro, open that sucker up and learn that you'll either take forever or miss the majority of your shots.
I'm currently using a 50/2 full manual. I'm looking for a ~28~30mm f/1.8 as I'm shooting on an APS-C
*edit* For used, look into taking apart lenses. Many people sell the lenses for dirt cheap when they get dirt between the glass or fungus. This can be fixed with patience and an hour of your time.
