OP, have you (or anyone else that wants to chime in) read any of these, and have comments? I have the first one, and was waiting until I have read that to check into the rest of the series.

I read the free short story and it was very good.

I've read the series and loved it. FYI "Book 1" is really a short story. Each volume gets longer. Currently at $4, probably cheaper than a Starbuck's coffee, you'll get 1000% more satisfaction.

I recently bought the "Shift" trilogy, which is a prequel to this series. I've almost finished the second book and will immediately start on the third. The writing is as good or better. There's supposed to be a 4th prequel toward the end of the year to wrap everything up.

I read the series and really liked it. It was free I think before.

I also read the first one and liked it, looking forward to reading the rest.
There has been a lot of media coverage about the author lately, e.g. a week ago in the Wall Street Journal.

Cheapest to my knowledge for the Omnibus was $1.99 last October.

Awesome book. Easily worth more than $4. If you're at all into SciFi, fantasy, or post-apocalyptic fiction...this is a winner.

Thanks. My wife and I really enjoyed Wool so we will be picking up Shift next.

I got it for free when it showed up last time on here--it's an interesting read and I didn't know anything about it beforehand.

It's intriguing enough to want to read the sequels.

Great book, finishing up the Shift Omnibus now. Highly recommend if you like Scifi!!!!

I got it free last time and read it over Christmas break and really enjoyed it. The focus shifts slightly after the first one (I don't mean just the characters), but it something you notice more in hindsight. It left some unanswered questions, but overall had some interesting world building. It certainly made me want to check out the prequel, though I haven't gotten a chance to yet.

Fantastic series. Read it now!
