Quote from wikipost : This watch sucks! I own this watch, the screen is made of plastic and so is the bezel. Hence, it was will scratch easily!Bezel is extra sensitive. |

Quote from NukedSRT : This watch rocks! I own this watch's cousin (405CX). The screen and bezel are made of plastic, consistent with most watches in this segment. Durability over 2 years of use has been good. Bezel sensitivity is adjustable, and it can easily be locked to prevent inadvertent activation. I lock the bezel on every run, and I use 2-3 screens which auto switch. |

There are some bad reviews regarding the touch bezel...I never had an issue with the bezel as long as you're not trying to change 6 settings while running in 95 degree heat...
Wireless USB Ant stick has had some connectivity issues, but the software is much better now and the issues have went away for me.
I've had a 305, 405, and a 210. 305 and 405 have more features than the 210, but the 210 utilizes buttons over the touch bezel and directly connects to computer via a USB to watch connection.
I'd recommend all 3 watches, but I've liked the 305 and 405 b/c of more functionality.
Again, $99 for the watch and heart rate monitor is a bargain.
Great deal otherwise, from a msrp perspective. Thanks OP for posting.
Can I just get a bluetooth monitor and use one of the programs on my phone?
I take it back.... it seems like these are for the serious athletes and not for a person like me.

etc...

It's GPS is more accurate
Your phone battery won't last as long as this watch (using pandora, Bluetooth out to jay bird headset & gps running app with screen off, my iPhone is dead in 4 hours or less & if you got texts or calls, consider it done before a decent workout or shut off music for half of it).. 3-4 hrs is my daily run & strength training.. If your doing a marathon, most likely your phone will be dead before you finish unless you finish fast with no music..
It has integrated heart rated monitor instead of having to stick an adapter into your phone & drain more battery & then it also doesn't fit in most armbands anymore...
Easier to use & access features than phone in an armband or holding it in your hand.. At a glance always on stats.. No need to contort your arm & move your head to see your stats (although lots of apps have voice feedback stats), press buttons on the phone for laps/splits, turn on display... If you keep display on during entire workout the battery will be dead really quick with screen, streaming music, GPS app, hrm stick, etc..
More features than most running apps I've tried
It's water proof for running in rain.. I'd put my iPhone in a zip lock back folded over & into an armband on rainy days & under a rain proof jacket shell for music & having a phone for emergencies.. But then you can't control the app/phone easily .. But with the watch, it can just be on your wrist..
If you're a serious athlete it's worth it IMO.. If not, you probably don't need it/use it enough to realize the benefits or justify the added cost.. Although $100 isn't that much money..
If I were in the market for a replacement, I would likely jump on this deal. I eventually may upgrade to the 610.

It uses bluetooth 4.0 and the battery lasts a very long time. does not work on any other phone besides iphone and droid razr. Even if you have bluetooth 4.0, it wont work at the moment.
