Weber Spirit E-210 Gas Grill

The Verdict: Perfect for a small family or couple looking to grill infrequently.
Pros: Control knobs rotate further for better heat control. Closed-door design hides fuel source well.
Cons: Only has two burners.
The Weber Spirit E-210 carries the Weber name without the steep price of the Weber Genesis line. This barbecue grill retails at $399 and takes about three hours for one person to assemble — though Amazon offers expert assembly free of charge. Its closed-door design keeps the propane tank neatly out of view, unlike the Genesis variant.
With only two burners and side tables that fold down, the Spirit E-210 is a good choice for people living in tight spaces. However, it’s definitely a better fit for small families versus anyone looking to host large summer parties.

Char-Griller E3001 Grillin’ Pro Gas Grill

The Verdict: A solid buy for the casual griller who doesn’t need fancy frills.
Pros: Retails at $199.99. Accomplishes advertised functions with ease.
Cons: Protection plates tend to catch grease. Components may not hold up to long-term use.
The Char-Griller E3001 Grillin’ Pro is as casual and accessible as its name makes it sound. It retails at $199.99, the lowest price tag of any grill on our list. The three-burner design weighs in at less than 100 pounds. The light weight combined with attached wheels means this model is easy to move around the yard or patio as needed.
Because it is the cheapest grill on our list, you can’t expect it to last forever. Users have reported it does well for a few years, but will ultimately need to be replaced due broken parts or rust development. The protection plates have also been noted to catch grease and potentially burn food.
If you only plan to grill every so often and can keep the Char-Griller e3001 stored away from the elements while not in use, you’ll probably get your money’s worth from this grill. However, daily barbecue chefs should likely consider a more premium product.

Nexgrill 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill

The Verdict: A BBQ for the home chef wanting to grill quickly for a large number of guests without having to worry about a slow heating process or uneven cooking.
Pros: Lights and heats up easily. Clean, professional appearance.
Cons: Constructed of thin metal that can rust or dent easily.
The Nexgrill 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill is priced at $249. It features four burners plus a side burner and an “Even-Heat Cooking System” designed to grill your food consistently. Casters allow for portability, and an electric ignition keeps it firing up instantly every time.
While modern in appearance, reviews suggest the stainless steel-coated grates rust quickly and the grill is generally constructed from thin, inexpensive metal. However, people have also mentioned it heats up fast and that the temperature is easy to control, so as long as you’re willing to be gentle with it you shouldn’t have a problem.

Char-Broil TRU-Infrared 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill

The Verdict: For the tech-forward chef looking to grill a lot and avoid burning food.
Pros: Infrared technology prevents flare-ups and burnt meals.
Cons: Not meant for slow-cooking. Searing trays are reportedly difficult to clean.
The Char-Broil TRU-Infrared 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill has, as the name suggests, four burners, along with a warming rack for heating buns or keeping prepared food hot. It boasts infrared cooking technology that helps prevent flare-ups and deliver heat evenly. Additionally, this technology supposedly helps maintain juices during the cooking process. This Char-Broil has a stainless steel exterior and rust-resistant porcelain-plated grates.
At around $600, this is the second most expensive grill on our list. With 500 sq. inches of cooking space, this grill is best-suited for cooking larger quantities of food during family gatherings or parties. Some consumers have said it’s difficult to slow-cook with this grill and some parts of the cleanup (especially cleaning the trays) can be messy.

Weber Genesis II LX E-340 Liquid Propane Grill

The Verdict: The showy, high-quality grill for the big spender who loves a good steak.
Pros: Quality craftsmanship means quality grilling. Burners are sturdy and reliable.
Cons: High price point. Some reviews claimed the regulator failed or leaked within a few months.
The Weber Genesis II LX E-340 is the Cadillac of barbecue grills. Retailing at $1,599.99, it’s easily the most expensive grill on our list. This grill comes with a 10-year Weber Guarantee and has three stainless steel burners along with a Tuck-Away warming rack that toasts buns and folds away when not in use.
While most users applaud the quality of this grill, a few had difficulty with the regulator after just a few months. Otherwise, this model has satisfied consumers with various quality-of-life touches like LED lights on the grill handle and a side burner for heating sauces, charcoal or side dishes.
