If You Don’t Have a Fancy Toaster Oven, Who Hurt You?

Step into the quick convection future with these affordable Cuisinarts.

At Slickdeals, we work hard to help you find the best deals. To do this, some of the products featured here are from our partners, who may provide us with compensation. However, this doesn’t influence our opinions. Our views are our own.

Look, no value judgment here, but if you don’t own a device capable of baking, broiling, defrosting and reheating, what exactly is stopping you? If you prefer to wait 15 to 20 minutes for your giant dinosaur of a conventional oven to heat, that’s your choice to make. The rest of us will be enjoying the free time offered by our quick, efficient convection ovens. And you deserve that joy, too.

If you’re late to the toaster oven game or looking to upgrade your current one, Amazon is currently running a deal on the Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven Broiler. It normally retails for $140 to $150, but it currently costs $129.99, the lowest price we’ve seen. For the price point, this oven is one of the larger options available and it offers a robust number of features.

If you want something a little bigger and bolder, you can get its big brother, the Cuisinart TOB-260N1 Chef’s Convection Toaster Oven. This model offers a whopping 15 different cooking functions. It is listed at $199 on Amazon, but you can price match BuyDig’s current price of $149.99.

Are These Toasters Worth It?

According to Amazon reviews and Slickdealer testimonials, it looks like the TOB-261N is probably the better buy at its discounted rate. If both models are at their regular price, the TOB-195 is still a great value for the price point. Ben_r_ has had the TOB-195 for the past decade and speaks highly of it, but acknowledges that there are definitely fancier options out there — like the TOB-260N1.

Jn4jenny referred to the TOB-260N1’s speed convection feature as “BOSS” and says that it practically eliminates the need to preheat. They also said that it works well as an air fryer, even if that is not listed as an “official” feature. Numerous users appreciated the complimentary pizza stone, which has plenty of versatile uses outside of pizzas.
