Qualifying for the $200 bonus is easy. You simply need to:

  1. Apply and qualify for a new Chase Total Checking account.
  2. Have a direct deposit from your employer or the government made to the new account within 90 days from your account opening date.

If you’re eligible for the offer and you satisfy the two conditions above, you should receive your $200 bonus within just 10 business days.

To be eligible for the offer, you need to be a new Chase checking customer or someone who hasn’t had a Chase checking account in the past 90 days. Any closed Chase checking accounts in your name also cannot have negative balances. Keep in mind that if you’ve received a new checking account bonus from Chase in the past two years, you won’t be able to receive the bonus.

Avoiding Monthly Fees

Note that Chase Total Checking does come with a $12 monthly service fee. While the monthly fee isn’t high, there are free checking account options out there for comparison. However, the bank does give you several easy ways to get this monthly fee waived:

  • Receive $500 or more in direct deposits to your account each month.
  • Have a minimum daily balance of $1,500 or more.
  • Keep an average daily balance of at least $5,000.

New Eligible Chase Business Checking Account: $300 Visit Chase Bank

For a limited time, new customers may earn a $300 cash bonus when opening any new eligible Chase business checking account. This Chase business bonus offer is a little confusing, but the promotion applies to all three business checking accounts. While the accounts all differ in their benefits and fees, the $300 offer is available to them all. Regardless of which account you open, to receive this bonus, you must meet three criteria:

  • Deposit $2,000 of new money to your checking account within 20 business days of account opening. With five business days in a normal week, this gives you almost one month to meet the deposit requirements.
  • Maintain a minimum balance of $2,000 for at least 60 days.
  • Complete five qualifying transactions within 60 days of account opening. These transactions include debit card purchases, Chase QuickDeposit, ACH credits or incoming and outgoing wires.

Once you meet these criteria, your $300 new account bonus will be deposited to your new eligible Chase business checking account within 10 business days.
