Red Dead Redemption 2, the long-awaited sequel from the publisher behind Grand Theft Auto V, is inarguably one of the biggest AAA games of 2018.

The game is now available for PS4 and Xbox One, with several versions offered at various price points. Alongside the typical $60 base game, you’ll also find a Special Edition for $79.99 and and Ultimate Edition for $99.99, each with loads of DLC and bonus content.

And if you’re a sucker for collectibles, there’s also a swag-filled Collector Box for $99.99. Just note that the Collector Box doesn’t actually include a copy of the game.

We’ve rounded up the best Red Dead Redemption 2 deals, discounts, and bonus features to be had right now. And there's no time to waste on taking advantage of these deals, especially if you're looking to grab a new Xbox or PS4.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Black Friday 2018 Deals

With the 2018 Black Friday ad scans from most major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy already out, it looks like we shouldn't expect anything significant in the way of discounts on Red Dead Redemption 2.

Given that the title sold more copies in two weeks than the original Red Dead did in eight years, it doesn't look like stores have much of an incentive to provide deals. If you see a price drop on Red Dead Redemption 2, you should take advantage of it while you can.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro Bundle

PlayStation gamers in the market for an upgrade to Sony’s 4K console, the PlayStation 4 Pro, are going to get one of the best deals on Red Dead Redemption 2 right now.

Sony and Rockstar have partnered to offer a Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro bundle for $399.99. Since a PS4 Pro typically costs $399 on its own, you’re essentially getting the game for free.

As you might imagine, this has been a pretty hot deal since its announcement in September. It’s sold out completely on Amazon, but is still currently available at Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart. We’d advise you waste no time on this one.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Xbox One Discount

From October 25th through November 3rd, gamers can get $100 off an Xbox One when they purchase a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2. Naturally, you'll need to buy the Xbox version of the game to get the Xbox discount.

That knocks the Xbox One S down to $199 and the Xbox One X down to $399. The deal is available from a bunch of different retailers, so it should be convenient to find a good deal.

It's also worth noting from now through October 28th, GameStop is offering customers extra credit towards a new Xbox One X when they trade in older or otherwise unwanted consoles. Trading in newer systems can get you between $250 to $300 off.

We've even seen reports that these deals will stack with one another!

But remember, most of GameStop's in-store trade-in deals come down to manager and staff discretion. While they may not accept it, it's possible you could get a really sweet deal on a Red Dead Redemption 2 bundle.
