It’s time to make your dream kitchen a reality! The IKEA Kitchen Event is dishing up some solid deals right now with huge savings on select appliances, cabinet fronts, faucets, sinks and more.
This sales event has already started and runs through March 29th. And as a bonus, the promotion is available both in-store and online. We’re taking a look at the best offers from the Ikea Kitchen Sale and letting you know how to take advantage of these deals.

How to Score the IKEA Kitchen Discount

IKEA’s Kitchen Sale Event is only available for members of IKEA Family (which is free to join). If you decide to shop the sale online, you can avoid shipping costs by opting for in-store pickup where available. Just keep in mind that a $5 service fee is added to your order with this option. Otherwise, shipping costs vary by item, as will stock availability.

IKEA Kitchen Sale Shopping Tips

1. Take advantage of IKEA’s Price Protection policy. As Mr. Pute explains, it’s “definitely why I chose to pull the trigger 30 days ago. If you purchase with an IKEA Family Card, you’re locked into 90 days of price protection, which allows you to seek a refund for the price difference when the sale starts. My order (163 boxes, 2009 lbs.) showed up this Monday. I’ll be heading into the store to get my cash back this weekend.”
2. Reserve what you want — even if it’s out of stock. Mr. Pute adds that “you can place a ‘reservation’ order now for what you want. That will lock in your allotment, which you will have seven days to pay for and pick up once it arrives at the store.”
Slickdealer A11enC seconds this approach. “Went there last night to pick up a dishwasher for $200. The associate said they will be getting more deliveries along the way. So if something you want is OOS, keep checking back or better yet call to ask them when’s the next delivery.”
3. Attend a kitchen workshop. IKEA stores are also offering kitchen-planning events where shoppers can receive expert advice on creating the kitchen of their dreams. Space is limited and exclusively for IKEA Family members. Workshops and hours vary by location, so be sure to check your local IKEA for more information.
