Everyone knows Arby’s “has the meats," but for a limited time you can enjoy some of said meat for free.

The roast beef guru is currently offering any one of its signature sandwiches (Reuben, Loaded Italian, any Gyro or Smokehouse Brisket) free when you purchase a soft drink and sign up to receive promotional emails and/or texts.

After you opt-in, you'll receive a coupon for the deal by email or phone. There's a limit of one per customer, and the deal expires seven days after you sign up.

Once you have your coupon, check Arby’s handy store locator to find your closest pit stop, buy a soft drink and enjoy your free sandwich!

Just remember that you'll need to enter an email address, regardless of whether you prefer a printable or mobile coupon. Adding your phone number is optional, but if you do, be sure to input your full number, including dashes (123-456-7890). Otherwise, you’ll get an error code.

Some Slickdealers who signed up for an email coupon reported waiting up to 15 minutes for the promotion to show up in their inbox. Others did not receive an email at all.

On the other hand, our community reported that Arby’s sends text coupons almost immediately.

Save More with Tips from Slickdeals

Want to save even more? Some Arby's offer drink specials for only $1 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. That means you could get an entire meal for just a dollar!

However, if that's not available in your area — or if your store won't let you claim the free sandwich using a discounted drink — Slickdealer KMan suggests opting for a small coffee. He says he was still able to get the deal, and that "coffee's a bit cheaper than their [soft]drinks."

And of course you can always learn more about all the current fast food promos by signing up for a Deal Alert with us.
