With summer on its way out, back-to-school shopping becomes an increasingly important priority. But it can be extra nerve-wracking for those about to head off to college. But now, thanks to retailers like Best Buy, students can get amazing deals like a discount on a 6th generation iPad Pro.

When you buy your new iPad through Best Buy, you’ll save $200, bringing the price down from $799.99 to $599.99. Just a little extra cha-ching for your new adventures as an adult in higher education.

When choosing between the iPad 6 and the Surface 2, consider exactly what you need from your device.

In addition to the touchscreen feature, the Surface also boasts a larger display and longer battery life than the iPad. However, the iPad is lighter for both you and your wallet and comes with Face ID technology which allows you to access Apple Pay.

The iPad also comes with one month free of the iCloud and three free months of Apple Music, whereas the Surface 2 does not have the extra perks. Furthermore, with the money you save on your iPad you could always add a smart keyboard to your order.
