Go Big or Go Home: Your Favorite Disney Channel Original Movies are Now Just $5

The list of DCOMs is huge and you can find favorites dating all the way back to the '90s.

Ready to take a stroll down memory lane? Amazon Prime Video and Apple iTunes are having a huge sale on Disney Channel Original Movies that will have you shouting “Zetus Lapetus!” For a limited time, you can collect all your favorite DCOMs for just $4.99 (movies vary between standard definition and HD).

As you can imagine, the list of movies is long. It includes made-for-TV Disney films that date back to the ’90s, which was 20 years ago now. So that’s fun.

The choices may be overwhelming, but we’ve compiled a small sample of DCOMs that come highly recommended by the Slickdeals community.

Cheaper Ways to Watch Disney Channel Original Movies

While this is a good deal to catch up on all those classic DCOMs, we’re always on the lookout for even more savings. One suggestion came from Slickdealer irishmeghan:

“If you still have cable, you can access a lot of these movies on the DisneyNow app. They usually change them each month and have about 15-20 of them active at a time. When you watch them, there will be a few commercials, but you’re already paying for them, so it’s a good way to catch up on them. If you are on the app and looking, it’s the DCOM tab.”

We are also just a few months away from the much anticipated Disney+, set to launch on November 12th. As Slickdeal user sara567 mentions, “…these will all be available for a flat $7/month price. Don’t go crazy if you think you will be getting Disney streaming.”

RELATEDWhat We Know About Disney+ Thus Far

These are just a couple of things to take into consideration as you browse the vast selection of DCOMs. But whether you get these movies now or wait for Disney+, one thing is for certain: your kids — or your inner child — are going to have a great time.
