These deals are spread evenly throughout the year, so you have time to plan your trip — assuming you book quickly. We are officially on the other side of peak travel season, so this is a great time to score cheap plane tickets.

New York to Miami, Florida — Roundtrip, Nonstop

Travel Dates: January 2020 — March 2020

Price: From $107 roundtrip

Pro Travel Tips: Most fares will run you about $100 to $135, but we’ve seen a few select date combinations dip as low as $85.

Unfortunately, New Yorkers need to add the time cost of traveling to Newark for this deal, as a wintry Miami vacation is more expensive at the other local airports.

New York to Lima, Peru — Roundtrip, One Stop

Travel Dates: September 2020 — October 2020

Price: From $342 roundtrip

Pro Travel Tips: Visit Machu Picchu on a budget with this economy fare from Interjet Airlines. While this is a great deal for a flight to Peru, there is a punishing 17-hour layover in Mexico City on both flights. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, as it is certainly enough time to go into town to eat and explore without missing your flight to Lima.

New York to San Francisco — Roundtrip, Nonstop

Travel Dates: January 2020  — February 2020

Price: From $197 roundtrip

Pro Travel Tips: United, Delta, Alaska and JetBlue members will really relish this San Francisco deal, with a robust selection of flight times and dates at the lowest fare. There are a wide array of travel dates available this winter, so why not trade your cloudy gray city for another?

New York to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — Roundtrip, One Stop

Travel Dates: February 2020 — March 2020

Price: From $408 roundtrip

Pro Travel Tips: With your choice of Air China, China Eastern and China Southern Airlines, you can escape to the largest city in Vietnam. Seasoned travelers of Slickdeals agree that this is a good deal. Michaeltholbrook noted that it would be easy and inexpensive to make a side trip to the Phillippines for $100 or less, as well as Cambodia and Laos.

To get the best possible deal, it’s worth playing with potential travel dates. Serra recommends an eight to nine-day turnaround.

New York to St. Johns, Antigua — Roundtrip, Nonstop

Travel Dates: January 2020 — March 2020

Price: From $299 roundtrip

Pro Travel Tips: Check the deal thread for the cheapest select dates. If you can’t make those dates work, it isn’t that much more expensive — expect something in the $325 to $350 range. Most fares come with a free carry-on bag.

New York to Rome, Italy — Roundtrip, Nonstop

Travel Dates: October 2020 — November 2020

Price: From $318 roundtrip

Pro Travel Tips: For a handful of select weeks in October and November, you can take a weeklong vacation to Rome for under $300. Volare!

The departure dates are strict, but there is a wide availability of return dates as long as you stick around for seven or more days. The cheapest flight has a long layover, but you can avoid that by taking the Airfrance flight for $314.

New York to Lake Tahoe/Reno — Roundtrip, One Stop

Travel Dates:  August 2020 — November 2020

Price: From $184 roundtrip

Pro Travel Tips: Get a head start on your summer/fall vacation with a trip to Lake Tahoe using this American Airlines deal. There are many dates available, but they are randomly sprinkled over five months. The prices jump pretty substantially from day to day, so make sure you play with the dates to get the best possible deal.
