Get excited! Amtrak’s BOGO ticket deal is back, making it easier than ever to travel with the plus one of your choice. What better way to round out Valentine’s Day weekend than by planning a trip for spring or summer.
The promotion is going on right now for select routes across the U.S., but you must purchase tickets prior to February 17th, 2020 to take advantage of the sale. However, passengers can choose travel dates from March 9th to August 30th, 2020, giving duos time to nail down their final itineraries.
Some popular options include New York to DC and Los Angeles to Seattle. You can even grab tickets between Portland, Maine and Boston for $29.
For those who want to be extra comfortable, there are roomette and bedroom tickets available. These two upgraded cabins offer more spacious seats with meals included, cozy beds, turn-down service and more. The main difference between the two is that the bedroom has a shower and toilet in the space.
Roomette tickets all cost under $400, while bedroom reservations can be up to $691. It may seem like a splurge, but don’t forget that you’re getting two trips for the price of one.
This isn’t the first time Amtrak has offered prices this good. Last year, the company had buy-one-get-one free tickets in honor of Mother’s Day, so hopefully, there’s more to come. In the meantime, scroll through some of the different routes below, all under $190, and book your train tickets before fares go back up.
