What a catch! The Chick-fil-A Fish Sandwich is back, and just in time for Lent.
From now until April 20th, the fast-food restaurant will serve both the Fish and Deluxe Fish Sandwiches. Diners also have the option of boxed two and three-count fish entrees and meals.
Much like the chain’s famed Chicken Sandwich, the Fish Sandwich is minimal — a deep-fried cod patty placed on a toasted bun with pickles, starting at $3.55. The Deluxe sandwich goes for around $4.15 and includes cheese, lettuce and tomato.
Chick-fil-A also provides its own tartar sauce, a perfect companion to its famous selection of spreads and dressings. Waffle fries and fish filets need not be restricted to sharing the same condiment.
Those who observe the Lenten tradition of abstaining from poultry and red meat often have limited options for fast food. Thankfully, while the season comes with restrictions, Chick-fil-A has managed to provide buyers with the opposite: options.
