Costco’s loyal customers may soon have to change the way they find discounts at the wholesale giant. According to Slickdeals user Butcherboy, Costco will stop mailing the Costco Coupon Book and transition the process over to email.
Each month, the retailer mails its members a coupon booklet full of that month’s deals. The most recent issue, Costco’s May Coupon Book, contains deals valid from May 22nd through June 16th, including discounts on Apple AirPods and Google Express orders. It’s just one of the perks offered with your Costco membership.
The Slickdeals community member reported speaking with a Costco worker who said the company plans to start sending the Coupon Book via email rather than through the regular mail. Additionally, this came up as the result of a promotion in which Costco knocks $10 off an online order of $100 or more if you provide them with your email.

Slickdeals Community Reaction
Reactions to this user’s post varied among the Slickdeals community. Some believed the user, saying they’d also heard the same information from employees. Slickdealer ilBuono said their Costco did away with mailed coupon books in Arizona some time ago. Though, this user’s particular location still provided the booklets at the store’s entrance.
However, plenty of other users expressed doubts about the coupon book going online only. In fact, Slickdeals user MBZ321, who claims to work at Costco, says there are no plans of this nature. Another allegedly Costco-employed Slickdealer said the same thing.
Regardless, shoppers who rely on their monthly Costco mailers may want to speak to their local chain.
