No tricks, just treats. That's how Halloween should be celebrated, which is why we're thankful for the many opportunities for free food on Halloween that creep up on us every October.

Loads of restaurants typically hand out more than just candy on Halloween, so we're making predictions on what chains will have the best offers this Oct. 31. Some companies have already announced their Halloween plans, so we've included those as well!

Many restaurants offer Halloween deals to families with costumed kids, so be sure to wear your costume if you plan to dine out on Halloween.

Will your favorite chain be offering monstrous deals this year? Check below to find out.

Halloween Food Deals Predictions:

  • Baskin-Robbins: Ice cream scoops will be $1.31 on Oct. 31.
  • Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.: Enjoy a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • IHOP: Kids under 12 get a complimentary Scary Face Pancake between 7 AM and 10 PM on Halloween.
  • Krispy Kreme: Get a free, Halloween-themed donut if you wear your costume to the store on the 31st. No age limit, and no purchase necessary.
  • Joe's Crab Shack: Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • Chipotle: Last year, Chipotle offered "booritos," bowls, tacos, and salads for $3 to anyone in costume. They also ran a contest to earn a free year of burritos. We predict they'll have a similar offer for 2018.
  • P.F. Chang's: In past years, P.F. Chang's has offered promo codes that knocked between 15% and 20% off takeout and catering orders on Halloween. They will probably have a similar promotion this year.
  • Sonic: Sonic typically offers 50 cent corn dogs all day on Halloween, and they will likely do so again this year.
  • Burger King: Last year, Burger King gave out a free Whopper to the first 500 customers to come dressed as a clown to one of five locations. It's possible that they will resurrect the viral stunt this year, or they may end up doing something similar.
  • Baja Fresh: Members of the Baja Fresh email list may get a coupon for a free kids meal with adult entree purchase on Halloween, just like they did in 2017.
  • Pizza Hut: Look for discounts of around 25% off pizzas, which is what Pizza Hut has offered in previous years.
  • Chuck E. Cheese's: Last year saw kids getting free slices of "candy corn" pizza every hour, on the hour from 4 PM to 8 PM. This deal could pop up again this year, especially since Chuck E. Cheese's is already celebrating "Chucktober" and giving 50 free tickets to kids in costume all month.
  • Cici's Pizza: Based on last year's deal, we predict Cici's will offer a free kid's buffet with the purchase of an adult buffet.
  • Papa John's: Take advantage of special Halloween party packages starting at $42.50.
  • Coco's Bakery: Coco's may be offering a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal to costumed kids 10 and under.
  • Outback Steakhouse: Last year saw a free "dirt cup" desert with the purchase of a Joey Menu entree on Halloween.
  • Pollo Tropical: Pollo Tropical offered a coupon for a free kids meal with adult entree purchase last year, valid for only a few hours on Halloween. It's possible they will release a similar coupon this year.
  • Tijuana Flats: In past years, this chain has offered free trick or treat bags for kids on Halloween.
