After several delays, Apple has finally brought forth its lineup of next-generation smartphones. Four new models have been introduced, ranging from the more affordable iPhone 12 Mini to the incredibly powerful iPhone 12 Pro Max. All phones in the family are 5G-capable and bound to be incredibly popular when they launch later this year.

The Best iPhone 12 Deals and Offers – Welcome to the World of 5G

The iPhone 12 features an all-new design, packing everything you love about iPhone into a form that will more easily fit into the palm of your hand. It still has a beautiful 6.1-inch screen like the iPhone 11, but the phone itself manages to be 15% smaller.

In addition to cosmetic upgrades, the iPhone 12 is much more durable than past phones, using a new Ceramic Shield technology to boost “drop performance” by 400%. That means you’re less likely to break your fancy new phone when it inevitably slips through your fingers.

Beyond the fantastic new design and durability features, the iPhone 12 is bringing 5G to Apple users in a big way. With more 5G bands present in the iPhone 12 than any other smartphone, you’ll be able to get incredible speeds not seen in most phones on the market. It’s all powered by the new A14 Bionic chip, which Apple claims is the fastest chip ever used in a smartphone.

Then there’s the sleek new MagSafe system, which allows you to magnetically attach a variety of accessories to the back of your phone, including a wallet clip or even a wireless charger. Here’s a quick rundown of the iPhone 12’s specs:

  • Display: 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR, OLED
  • Chip: A14 Bionic
  • Camera: Dual 12MP camera system (Ultra Wide – f/2.4; Wide – f/1.6; TrueDepth Camera – f/2.2)
  • Operating System: iOS 14

The iPhone 12 launched October 23rd with a starting price of $799.99 for the 64GB model. However, as you might expect, several retailers are already offering pretty good deals on the new device. Check out the best current offers available:

Apple

Apple is offering iPhone 12 models starting at $799 with qualified activation (or $33.29 per month for 24 months). While there aren’t any immediate discounts available, you can get up to $500 in credit when you trade in an old device using Apple’s trade-in program. However, keep in mind you’ll need to trade in an iPhone 11 Pro Max to get the maximum value back; the normal iPhone 11 is worth $350 in credit, with older phones decreasing in value in-line with to age.

Also, if you’re hoping to pick up an unlocked phone, it will cost an additional $30, bringing the total starting price to $829.99.

Verizon

If you order an iPhone 12 through Verizon, you’ll save $30 off the unlocked price, bringing the total cost down to $799 (or $33.29 per month for 24 months). You can also get up to $550 in trade-in credit when you turn in select phones and add a new line to your plan. If you simply choose to trade in your old phone, you’re still eligible for up to $440 in credit. In both cases, the regular iPhone 11 is worth the maximum amount.

If you’re not a Verizon customer, but are willing to switch to one of five select Unlimited plans – Above, Beyond, Do, Play or Get Unlimited – you can get the iPhone 12 for free if you also trade in a high-value device. Here’s how to cash in on this deal:

  1. Add the iPhone 12 to your cart (MSRP: $799.99) with monthly device payments, then choose to trade-in an old device that’s worth the full $550.
  2. Choose to activate your iPhone 12 on a new line of service with Above, Beyond, Do, Play or Get Unlimited plans.
  3. Checkout, then visit Verizon’s digital rebate center and enter promo code SWITCHER250 (and other necessary contact info) to receive a $250 Verizon e-Gift Card.
  4. Use this gift card to cover the remaining iPhone 12 balance leftover after applying your $550 trade-in credit.

If you’re not eligible for the offer described above, you can still take a look at the phones on Verizon’s site:

Verizon is also running sales on a few accessories for the iPhone 12, including:

AT&T

Like Verizon, you can order an iPhone 12 through AT&T starting at $799.99 (or $26.67 for 30 months). While you can trade-in an old device to save some money, AT&T is also offering a promotion that technically lets new and existing customers get an iPhone 12 for $0. Here’s what you need to cash in on this offer:

  1. Purchase an iPhone 12 on a qualifying installment plan.
  2. Add a new line of service or upgrade an existing line.
  3. Activate postpaid unlimited wireless service (min $75/mo for new unlimited customers before discounts).
  4. Trade-in an old device worth at least $95 to receive $800 in bill credits over 30 months.

Best Buy

While Best Buy has pretty much the same offers as AT&T and Verizon, Sprint customers can save $70 by going through this retailer, bringing the total price down to $729.99 if you’re willing to pay all at once.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering the same basic package as AT&T and Verizon, with the iPhone 12 starting at $799 with activation. Take a look at the phones on-offer:

Not content with all the power packed into the iPhone 12? The 12 Pro pushes the Apple lineup even further, using surgical grade stainless steel to provide a premium looking product, and it is sold in four beautiful colors. The 6.1-inch display uses Super Retina XDR technology, providing you with one of the best viewing experiences ever seen on a smartphone. Here’s a full rundown of the iPhone 12 Pro’s specs:

  • Display: 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR, OLED
  • Chip: A14 Bionic
  • Camera: Pro 12MP camera system (Ultra Wide – f/2.4; Wide – f/1.6; Telephoto – f/2.0)
  • Operating System: iOS 14

All these upgrades don’t come cheap, with the iPhone 12 Pro starting at $999 before trade-ins. Like the iPhone 12, the Pro started shipping out October 23rd, with various retailers offering bonus incentives and discounts. Take a look at your current options:

Apple

Apple has 12 available starting at $999 with qualified activation (or $44.66 per month for 24 months). If you trade in an old device, you can save up to $550, with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus worth the maximum amount.

Verizon

Like its iPhone 12 offer, Verizon is giving customers up to $550 off the iPhone 12 Pro with select trade-ins and the addition of a new line, or up to $440 off with just the trade-in.

AT&T

AT&T matches the above vendors’ prices for the iPhone 12 Pro, but you can save up to $800 with qualified trade-ins. The iPhone 8 qualifies for the full $800 discount, as do most newer iPhones.

Best Buy

Similar to the discount Best Buy is offering Sprint customers on the iPhone 12, anyone on that network can pick up an iPhone 12 Pro for $899 if they pay upfront. Otherwise, AT&T and Verizon customers can get one for $999.

T-Mobile

While T-Mobile is also offering the Pro starting at $999, new customers (or existing customers who add a line) can receive up to $850 in bill credits. Any customers who have been with Sprint or T-Mobile for more than 5 years can receive an additional $200 off their purchase.
