work for you?
If you're in the market for a new phone, Best Buy is running a sale on the Samsung Galaxy S9 that takes $200 off the $599.99 retail price. Unlocked phones are only $399.99 when you activate with Sprint, Verizon or AT&T via Best Buy. To sweeten the deal, AT&T Next users can get the phone for $299.99 if they sign up for the $9.99 monthly payment option.
If you choose not to activate your phone upon purchase, you can still pick one up for $499.99.
Shipping is free, but Slickdealer TeddyHeisman notes you have to pay sales tax on the full price of the phone.
The S9 isn't the latest smartphone from Samsung, but it's still relatively new (it released March 2018). Slickdealer knightex has been using Galaxy phones since the days of the S3, and they claim the S9 isn't a significant upgrade from the S8. The fingerprint sensor has been moved to below the camera, but otherwise it's not much different.
While current S8 users may want to wait a little longer before upgrading, the S9 is a solid choice for anyone with an older smartphone. It's still a Galaxy, which means it comes with great features like a 12-megapixel rear camera and a beautiful Super AMOLED display.
If you're in the market for a new phone but don't want to drop at least $600 on the S10, this might be the way to go.
Add 256GB of Storage for as Little as $35
Students looking for an SD card to go with their new S9 can cash in on a great deal Samsung is offering on the 256GB EVO Plus. While it normally costs $99.99, you can get it via myunidays.com for just $35.14.
Slickdealer GetMeSlick points out companies with employee purchase programs may be able to get the card for the same $35.14 price. For all others, Samsung has a standard $20 discount on the card right now that brings the price down to $79.99.
Even if you opt for the most expensive versions of these deals, you're still getting a powerful phone for a great price. For reference, an unlocked 256GB iPhone XS (which came out a month after the S9) costs at least $900, whereas a non-activated S9 and $80 SD card still total less than $600.
