Black Friday has Already Started at Amazon

Why wait until Thanksgiving when you can just start Black Friday now?

Amazon prime delivery

If you're impatiently waiting for Black Friday to come around you can get your fix in early at Amazon starting today, as they've begun their countdown to Black Friday with daily deals leading up to Thanksgiving weekend.

Amazon's Black Friday page is using Daily Deals and Lightning Deals to build up anticipation for what hopefully will be better deals than some of what we're seeing today. Window insulator kits, probiotics and a Swedish FireKnife is not what I normally would associate with items I'm looking for on Black Friday, and that's coming from a Swedish guy, mind you. The noteworthy deals for now looks to be the 16GB Moto X smartphone for $199 and "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," which are both solid.

If you're a Prime Member you will get early access to 30,000 Lightning Deals 30 minutes before everyone else on Black Friday. If you remember Prime Day you know that those type of deals rarely lasted 30 minutes when it was a hot ticket item. If you're not signed up yet it might be a good idea to start your free 30-day trial soon if you plan on doing your shopping at Amazon.

I often wonder if Black Friday has ever been good. Last years products or crap that didn't sell marked down the day after Thanksgiving. Never was the high end Panasonic plasma TV marked down or the high end Weber BBQ (at least beyond the 10% off you would normally get). Yes, you can save some money on the marginal products or the off brand stuff. Maybe I am just getting jaded as I get older.

i agree with bob. It's mostly garbage like retailers are having a giant clearance sale to clear the junk.
