It's Not Too Late: Here Are the Best Deals on Madden NFL 19 Pre-Orders

Gamers can save big when purchasing from Best Buy, Amazon, Target, and Walmart.

Another year, another Madden. EA's blockbuster series returns with Madden NFL 19, scheduled for release on August 10. To celebrate the game's launch, retailers are offering discounts and deals to make this AAA title a little more affordable. The game comes standard at $59.99, but there's a special Hall of Fame edition that retails at $79.99. However, since the Hall of Fame edition has already been officially released, most pre-order deals no longer apply to that version.

For those who missed out on the Hall of Fame pre-order, the standard edition is still available and comes with 1 elite player from any NFL team and 5 Gold Team Fantasy packs. These items come with your pre-order no matter what retailer you're buying from. We've compiled some of the best deals to defend your wallet from a potential concussion.

Best Buy

Best Buy is offering a discount on Madden NFL 19, but it requires a physical copy of Madden 18 to cash in. You can trade-in Madden 18 and get a Best Buy gift card for the trade-in value (standing at $11.28), and Best Buy will throw in an additional $10 coupon for Madden NFL 19. As Slickdealer AJ_Veras notes, there is currently no way to "trade-in" digital copies of the game. You must also trade-in your copy of Madden 18 before August 9 and use the coupon before August 19, so don't wait. If you sign up for free as a Best Buy member, you will also receive $10 in Best Buy Rewards Certificates upon pre-ordering the game for Xbox One or PS4. You must order before the game's official release date to qualify.

The standard version of the game retails at $59.99 based on the Best Buy website, so with the discounts you're looking at $38.71 plus a $10 reward certificate.
