The Slickdeals Frontpage is full of the best deals from around the web. But how do they get there? Through the power of our amazing community. Let’s walk through the life of a Slickdeal.

The Life of a Slickdeal

  1. Before a deal hits our Frontpage, it is first shared by a member of our community. When a Slickdeals member finds a great deal, they can share it by using our Post a Deal feature.
  2. Once a deal is posted, it gets sent to our Hot Deals forum where other community members discuss and vote on the quality of the deal.
  3. If the deal is good enough, it will start to trend and more community members will see it and continue to vote and comment on it.
  4. Next, it will move into Popular Deals. These are deals that our algorithm has determined are well-liked by the Slickdeals community.
  5. Finally, if a deal receives enough positive votes and comments, it will make its way to our Frontpage. Our deal editor’s check every deal to make sure they meet the high standards of the Slickdeals Frontpage. If a deal makes it to our Frontpage, rest assured it’s a great deal.
