LEGO just unveiled the first official images of its newest building set, Steamboat Willie (LEGO Ideas 21317), based on the 1928 Disney cartoon of the same name, which stars everyone’s favorite mouse, Mickey!

Featuring monochromatic visuals along with new Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse minifigures, this must-have kit for Disney fans will be available for purchase on April 1st, 2019 from and LEGO stores everywhere. The suggested retail price for the 751-piece set is $89.99, and you can add it to your wishlist today via LEGO’s website.

This adorably nostalgic building kit started out as a LEGO Ideas community submission from Máté Szabó back in 2016, and its release pays tribute to the 90th anniversary of Mickey’s first cartoon appearance. LEGO designer John Ho is responsible for adapting Szabó’s concept into what you see today, complete with steam pipes that move up and down, rotating paddle wheels, and a working deck crane.

On April 3rd, 2019, fans will have an opportunity to meet Máté Szabó in Orlando, Florida from 5 PM to 8 PM at the LEGO Store located in Disney Springs. Bring your Steamboat Willie set to have it signed by the original designer!

In the meantime, check the Slickdeals forums for today’s best deals on LEGO sets, and then create a Deal Alert to be notified when the Steamboat Willie kit goes on sale.
