Staples.com Says Farewell to Competitor Price-Matching

Starting September 23, don't expect to use competitors as leverage against Staples website's prices

Staples

Originally, Staples.com was a handy back-up retailer for popular items that may have sold out at other, more regularly frequented, retailer websites. However, beginning September 23, Staples.com is no longer offers price-matching. Officially, the website has this to say on their Pricing and Promotions page:

“Staples.com does not offer a price match policy. Staples.com policies vary from those in store. Please see a store associate at our customer service desk for in store price match policies.”

It seems that brick-and-mortar Staples stores are still offering a 110% match on competitor prices — but it’d be best to take Staples.com at its word and check in with your local Staples service desk before setting your heart on any particular deal.

Consider assuaging the pain of the announcement by browsing the Slickdeals Staples Store Page, where active deals are still available.

Our editors strive to ensure that the information in this article is accurate as of the date published, but please keep in mind that offers can change. We encourage you to verify all terms and conditions of any product before you apply.
