The Dell Black Friday Ad Scan Is Leaked

Black Friday Sale Sign

The first Black Friday ad scan worth mentioning is finally here and it gives us good insight into what many of the popular items will be selling for next month.

Because manufacturers have something called Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies, there is a ceiling for how good a retailer can make a deal. Therefore, the prices we see in this Dell ad scan will be very similar to what we'll see from other competitors. The one thing they can do to sweeten the deals is to offer store gift cards or other extras on top of the main product instead.

Noteworthy Deals

The Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle for $299 (see deal thread) looks like something all gamers have been waiting for: A solid bundle for less than $300. We've seen them as low as $349 before, and sometimes with a $50 gift card thrown in, but this time it's $50 cheaper and also comes with Fallout 4, an extra controller and headset. That's going to be a hot ticket item. Dell is making this a doorbuster deal available online only starting 6 p.m. EST on 11/26.

The Inspiron Micro Desktop also looks very tempting at $99 as their other doorbuster deal. This one will be available at midnight EST on 11/27, and it's another online exclusive. All Dell deals will have free shipping as well.

Their lead ad scan deal is the 14" Inspiron 14 3000 series for $149, which is also a great price if you're in the market for a laptop.

What About TVs?

Well, if you want to dive into the world of 4K TVs, this is definitely a great opportunity to do so. Dell will have a 60" Vizio (M60-C3) 240Hz 4K Smart Ultra HDTV for $799. That's less than $1,000 for a 60" 4K TV! A lot less, at that. We've seen a frontpage deal for the same TV when it was $1,100. This is definitely one to try to get your hands on, and since it's all online you won't have to punch anyone for it.

There's also a 55" LG 4K Smart Ultra HDTV listed at $699, as well as a 32" Samsung LED for $177 that comes with a $50 Dell eGift Card.

What to Expect From Other Retailers

Since the Xbox One bundle is available at $299 you can expect to find PS4 bundles for the same price. Some stores might sell them for a bit more but add gift cards to make the value about the same. It looks like TVs will be found at record lows, so you might want to spend a little more and get a name-brand TV this year. A 55" LED should be available for around $400 among all the doorbuster deals, and if you want to take a gamble on an off-brand model you can probably get one for as low as $250. There won't be huge quantities available for those deals, however, so if you're planning on checking deals out once the initial wave is over with you'll probably still see plenty of TVs in those sizes, but for $150-$200 more.

Heck of an Xbox One deal there. Recommended.

Hoping there's a 65in 4K 3D TV deal somewhere.. but that's less likely.

This makes me feel slightly less terrible about missing that 65 inch RCA 4K for ~$850ish. Even though that 60 inch is a bit smaller... still a great deal. Not sure if it's enough for me to bite though....

Both Target and Walmart have 55" 1080p LEDs for less than $400. They're not top notch brand TVs though. The best one is probably the 55" Toshiba from Best Buy for $349.
