seen in an Oregon costco. I doubt you'll beat this value for a lowend fatbike anywhere.

its $506 on amazon prime.

FWIW that's a pretty bottom tier spec, in line with the Mongoose Malus, Hitch, and Dolomite. With a couple upgrades it's a decent bike, I put a few thousand miles on one last summer, but average deal IMHO. Though the Costco warranty is worth something.

Is there a point to the fat tires? For riding on top of snow? Thanks

Snow or sand. I've done both. Super fun. They also act as simple suspension everywhere else.

did you actually look at spec lists? I had a hard time finding them.

I've looked it over in the store and they have a bit of info on the Amazon site: https://www.amazon.com/Diamondbac...B01HH78AUU

It's a 1x so no front derailleur, rear is a tourney, which is the lowest in the Shimano line. Meh mechanical discs, not sure on BB or crank, but those were an immediate upgrade on my Malus. One of the really nice things is they offer it in sizes vs. the single size of the Mongoose clones.

$230 for that mongoose seems like a deal. the DB has a bit higher end deraill and shifter being torney from what i can tell. also the cranks look nicer on the DB. however $120 is about 50% more.
