Best offer so far!

For those considering the US Celluar 'free'... I read through the terms and conditions, here are the highlights:

*New Shared Connect or Total Plan required (US Celluar isn't offered in my area so I don't know what kind of plan prices they gouge their customers with)
*30 months required.
*"free" comes in the form of monthly bill credits... beginning around the 3rd or 4th billing cycle (so you'll be paying the phone fees for the first 3 months or so and then they will be credited)
*$25 activation fee MAY apply
*A Regulatory Cost Recovery fee applies, not a tax or government-required charge... and that is currently $2.02/mo
*More taxes, fees, other may apply according to the plan you choose
*Device Protection+ IS required and starts at $8.99 per smartphone.

Cancelling AT&T Service
* First register on myAT&T
* Use the myAT&T to go to "Billing & Payment" and then "Manage your Installment Plan" and pay the full balance
* Request for unlock device
* Still need to figure out how to cancel the service - Finally did it.. Called 611 from the phone and requested IVR to take to "Cancel Service" and just authentication and cancel, was very easy, not ETF. Probably will have to pay for the service for about 10days now.

I was planning to go through BB but this is more enticing. I'll have to see options for insurance since I like the geeksquad insurance

I just pre-ordered mine there and came here to post it. I looked at the other B&M's around me and Sams Club seem to have the best offer. Here is what I found from other sites so far (please note that all of these options come with the same Gear VR bundle as its a Samsung Promo, not store specific):

Costco: Free Level-U Pro headphones (Verizon only?) and a TYLT power bundle that includes a Dual Port Wall and Car Charger, a 5200 mAh battery a 3' Micro USB and 3' USB C cable.
http://membershipwireless.com/con...M_PREORDER

Target: $100 Gift Card
Link on their site is currently broken

Walmart: Nothing other than the Gear VR bundle

Best Buy: $100 off, not bad as it seems to take it off the financed amount so your monthly installments will be less

Engadget summed up the options if you are looking to get it from a carrier directly.
https://www.engadget.com/2017/03/...s8-and-s8/
Basically:
ATT: BOGO S8/S8+ (but the terms seem to indicate that you need to have TV service with them.Gear S3 for $50 with 2 yr contract, or Gear S2 or Tab E $1 with 2 yr contract
Verizon: Trade-in promo but requires Unlimited data plan this will reduce your monthly installment price
Sprint: Nothing special
T-Mo: Nothing special
US Cellular: Free S8/S8+ when trading in GS6 or better or iPhone 5s or better

Gear VR + Controller: $179.99 value (all pre-orders are including this)
179.99 value is a joke. 100 is more realistic for this crap

Lol, yeah. Probably cost them like $40 to manufacture.. They should include a 256 GB microSDXC Card or something useful.

isnt US cellular the best offer? if you trade in a used S6 which might worth $250, you can get S8 for free.

Yea, but it probably wont apply to most as I don't really consider it one of the major carriers. But for sure that's the best offer considering it goes as far back as the GS6 and 5s

will sams have the optional $99.99 upgrade for the 256gb sd card? and if I can use the gift card they give me for that it'd be sweet.

Unsure about the gift card offer, but any chance Best Buy will match promotions? Going to call them today and see what they say.
