24 hour fitness membership $26.99/month

Hey I went in today because I needed a 24/7 gym membership and it happened to be their final day for a 26.99/month pass (1 year commitment). Otherwise it's $30/month no commitment. It's gives you access to all of their gyms nationwide except the sport plus gyms. After a year has been reached you get to pay as you go. The initial sign up fee is waived. I paid for my first and last month... with tax ended up being $60. They said sometime during the year they will charge their annual fee of $50.

I called other locations and they also did mention it's their final day for this promotion. My friend told me he has access to all their locations but pays $45/month! Deal ends at 3/31/17 at midnight.

Does the $26.99 include taxes or are those additional?

If taxes are already included, that would be about $324 for 1-year membership. If you can afford prepaying and have a Costco membership, Costco has the 2-year memberships for $399.00 (all taxes included), comes to $16.63/month.

Repped for sharing, OP.

What is the $50 for ? Annual maintenance fee ?

So $324 for 1-year membership + $50 = $374 + Tax

Costco sells the 24 hour fitness membership $399 for two full years and no tax

So about 2x the cost of Costco, And at Costco you can get your money back for unused months.

I have ask at the front desk before about 24 hour fitness and Costco will pro rate the remaining month if you are not satisfied.

Old thread. But still thought of replying. Costco sells 24 Hour Fitness - 2 year membership vouchers. Not Costco gym.

There are 400+ gyms in 13 states. In the place I live there are multiple gyms of 24 hour fitness in the same city.

The discount is not huge. But Costco price comparatively better than any promotions they have locally in the gym.

I was so impressed by the patience in your response I had to reactivate an account to let you know. You are an inspiration.

This is a really old thread. I haven't gone to a 24hr fitness for over 12 years. That beats the thread age.
